Quilt Binding Basics -- Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Class

Finish your quilts with confidence in this focused, technique-packed binding class! Whether you’re wrapping up your very first quilt or looking to refine your finishing skills, this class will walk you through the essential methods to achieve clean, polished edges every time.

Students will practice on sample fabrics to build skills, with the option to begin binding their own quilt, if time allows.

In this class, you’ll learn:
Traditional Double-Fold Binding – Cut and prepare binding strips, attach with confidence, miter crisp corners, and seamlessly join ends
Hand & Machine Binding – Explore both techniques to achieve your preferred finish, from classic hand-stitched to efficient machine methods

By the end of class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to finally check “finish quilt” off your to-do list.

Details: All supplies will be provided for class to practice on. Sewing machines are available for all students, but let us know if you prefer to bring your own.
