My First Quilt: Quilting with Precuts (VIRTUAL CLASS)
This class is designed for the sewist interested in making their first quilt. Instead of cutting out all the components of your quilt, you will use pre-cut squares to create a baby quilt, while learning the basics of patchwork and quilt construction. Live lectures will walk you through each step of quilt making, including layout, sewing a quilt top, making a quilt sandwich, quilting and binding. Please note that "homework" will be required in between classes in order to stay on schedule.
Skill level: Novice
Supplies: 1 pack 5" pre-cuts (also called charm pack), neutral thread for piecing (40wt), coordinated thread for quilting (50wt, optional), 1.5 yds backing fabric, craft size batting, 1/2 yd border fabric (optional), 1/4 yd fabric for binding, walking foot for sewing machine (optional).

October 21st, 28th, Nov 3rd, and 10th at 7pm. Classes will be 2 hours long and include time for teacher demonstration, student sewing, discussion, and questions.
