Hovea Quilt Jacket -- Garment Making Class

Believe it or not, quilted jackets are one of the latest fashion trends. Learn how to make your own in this class using the Hovea Quilt Jacket Pattern by Megan Nielsen. 

Students can choose their own adventure during this class -- use a pre-quilted fabric,  existing quilt top, cheater cloth, or learn to quilt as you go.*

*Details: Class meets on Thursdays from 6:30-9pm from October 9th-October 23rd. Students must come to the first class with their fabric quilted & pattern pieces cut out. If you need additional help choosing your size or planning your quilted pieces, please also sign up for the planning session on October 2nd. Students may need to complete some homework outside of class in order to complete the jacket during class.

Skill Level: Intermediate. Students should be comfortable setting up a sewing machine on their own, following a seam allowance, and have at least made one garment before.

What you'll need:

• See size chart of fabric requirements
  
• 1/2 yard of fusible interfacing
• Coordinating thread
• Swedish Tracing Paper (optional)
• Any regular sewing supply you would normally use (scissors, pins, rotary cutter, etc).

*Please note that this pattern comes in two sizes: Hovea & Hovea Curve. Make sure to check your sizing before purchasing a pattern.
