Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Bag Making Class --- Essential Zipper Pouch

Create a beautiful & functional boxy quilted zippered pouch using the Holland Pouch pattern by Center Street Quilts. This excellent pattern comes in three sizes and has a super unique way of installing the zipper and finishing the seams. 

Skill level: basic sewing machine skills (i.e. comfortable threading the machine and winding the bobbin on your own).

What you'll need:

All supplies are available for purchase in the store or online. Students receive 10% off their purchase on supplies for class.

• 1/4 yard or Fat Quarter of canvas or quilting cotton for exterior #1
• 1/4 yard or Fat Quarter of canvas or quilting cotton for exterior #2
• 1/4 yard of Fat Quarter of quilting cotton for lining
• 1/4 yard of fusible fleece
• 1/2 yard of lightweight interfacing such as Shape Flex
• 10" zipper (can be longer if it plastic)
• Coordinating thread

• Use of sewing machines is including in this class, but if you prefer to use your own, you're welcome to bring it. Students are required to bring their own scissors and pins.
