Learn to Quilt Series (4 Weeks)

This class is designed for the sewist interested in making their first quilt. Class will cover: piecing together the quilt top, basting, quilting options, and how to install a binding. Students will use the Four Winds Pattern by Fancy Tiger Crafts.

Skill level: Adult Beginner. Students should be comfortable on a sewing machine and be able to thread and wind a bobbin on their own.

What you'll need:

All students receive a 10% discount on supplies.  

• See photo for fabric requirements
• Coordinating thread for piecing and for quilting (instructor will discuss different thread types during class)
• Quilt Batting
• Basting (curved) safety pins

All students will be required to bring their own scissors, pins, marking pens, rotary cutter & mat (if using). Students are welcome to use our sewing machines & irons/ironing boards. If you'd like to bring your own machine, please let us know prior to class.
