Upcycled Jeans Tote Bag Class

ver wanted to get in on the trend and make an up-cycled tote bag from a pair of your old jeans? Come and bring an old pair of jeans or pants and make yourself a tote bag! All you need is some jeans or chinos, 1 yard of fabric for the lining and some thread!

If you don’t have a pair of jeans you’d like to use, we will have some thrifted jeans for sale at cost ($15 a pair).

Beginner sewing skills needed. Students must be able to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and follow an even sew allowance.

What you'll need:

• A few pairs of jeans or similar weight fabric
• 1 yard of quilting cotton for the lining
• Thread
• Scissors 
• Pin

We have plenty of machines for you to use in the classroom, but let us know if you prefer to bring your own.
