NY Beauty Paper Piecing Class

Learn to create the classic NY Beauty quilt pattern using foundation paper piecing techniques. Foundation paper piecing is used to create precise points & designs by stitching through the pattern on paper. We'll also discuss NY Beauty variations, pattern layouts, and learn how to sew curves. This class is great for learning new techniques! Students should expect to complete 1-2 blocks during this class. Pattern will be provided. 

Skill Level: Intermediate. Students must be able to thread & operate a sewing machine on their own. Prior quilting experience is helpful, but not required. 

What you'll need:

All supplies are available for purchase in the store. Students will receive 10% off on any supplies purchased for class.

• 4-6 Fat Quarters, depending on size & variation you're making
  
• Coordinating thread
• Scissors, pins, and rotary cutter 
• Seam Roller (optional, but very helpful)
• Add a quarter ruler (optional)

We have classroom sewing machines available, but let us know if you prefer to bring your own. By registering for this class, you're agreeing to our class policy.
