Intro to Quilting: Log Cabin Pillow
Are you interested in learning to quilt but not ready to commit to making a full sized quilt? Then this class is for you! Students will make how to sew one of the most classic quilting blocks -- the Log Cabin. Students can opt to turn it into a pillow during class or can save their blocks to make a quilt top on their own.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner and up. Students must have previous sewing experience and be comfortable threading the machine.
What you'll need:
Students receive a 10% discount on supplies for class.

At least five 1/4 yard cuts (or Fat Quarters) or 1 Jelly Roll (Pre-cut 2.5" strips)

1/2 yard of fabric for back of pillow

One 16" or 18" pillow form
- Craft sized batting
- Coordinating thread
- Scissors and/or rotary cutter, & ruler*, pins or clips.
*We have some mats/rulers available to borrow in the studio if you don't have your own, but you may have to share with other students.
