Hello Pouches -- Quilted Vinyl Pouch Intermediate Bag Making In Person Class

With four different sizes to choose from, this pouch is perfect for all your sewing supplies or knitting projects. With a quilted based and see through vinyl top, you'll be easily able to see what's inside. 

Students will learn how to install a zipper, work with vinyl, basic bag construction, and a small bit of quilting. 

Skill level: Basic sewing machine skills (i.e. comfortable threading the machine and winding the bobbin on your own), ability to follow a seam allowance, and experience using at least 1-2 sewing patterns. 

Please arrive with your pieces cut prior to class. This will help us get right to sewing and ensure that you'll finish the bag during class. 

What you'll need:

All supplies are available for purchase in the store or online. 

• Hello Pouch Pattern by Knot + Thread
• See picture for fabric/notions details, depending on the size you're making.
• For zippers, we recommend Zipper by the Yard
• For the foam, we suggest fusible fleece or batting.

Helpful tools: Wonder clips, marking pens or marker, zipper foot (if bringing own machine)

Details:

• Use of sewing machines is including in this class, but if you prefer to use your own, you're welcome to bring it. Please bring your own thread, pins, scissors & any other tools that you would like to use.
