Gertrude Quilt Class -- Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Quilting

In this class, students will learn how to accurately cut using a rotary cutter and piece together a saw tooth based quilt top using the Gertrude Quilt Pattern by Penelope Handmade.
Please note, students will only be making the quilt top in this class. We will not be covering finishing the quilt during this session. There may be some homework required to finish the quilt top, depending on the pace of each student.
Tentative Schedule:
Class #1: We will cover how to read a quilting pattern and how to accurately cut the pieces using a rotary cutter. We will begin to assemble a block so if students choose to sew in between classes, you're equipped to do so.
Class #2: Continue to sew blocks and piece together the final top.
Skill level: Advanced Beginner and up. Must know how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and follow a seam allowance without assistance.
What you'll need:
All supplies are available in the store. Students receive 10% off on any supplies purchased for class.
Fabric requirements will depend on what you plan on doing with your finished blocks. You'll need more if you plan on turning your piece into a larger quilt.

- Scissors, Rotary cutter, pins, and any other preferred sewing tools
Sewing machines are provided, but let us know if you prefer to bring your own.
