Brandt Beach Bag Class -- Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Class

Need the perfect beach bag that won't fill up with sand or water? Learn to how to make Studio M Squared's Brandt Beach Bag. This bag "is made with mesh fabric so all that sand that inevitably gets in your bag just falls right through. Brandt is generously sized so you can carry a large towel, change of clothes, and everything else you need for a day at the beach. Plus, there are two large slip pockets on the outside and a small zippered pocket on the inside for securing valuables. Super lightweight and foldable, Brandt easily tucks into your suitcase."

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner and up. Students must have previous sewing experience and be comfortable threading the machine on their own. 

What you'll need:

Students receive a 10% discount on supplies for class.

•  Main Fabric: 1 yard (0.92m)
  • Accent Fabric: 3/4 yard (0.69m)
  • Mesh: (1) piece 24” wide x 42” long (61cm x 107cm)
  • Webbing: 4 yards (3.5m)
  • Interfacing: 1-1/2 yards (1.4m)

• 9" zipper
• Coordinating thread
• Scissors and/or rotary cutter, & ruler*, pins or clips.

Required Prep work: Please arrive with all your fabric and interfacing cut out according to pattern instructions. If you choose not to cut your fabric prior to class, you may not be able to finished during the allotted class time.
