Channel DIY-girl-summer vibes by sewing a pair of towel shorts perfect for beach days, pool lounging, or post-swim comfort. Not feeling the terry cloth? No problem—regular woven fabrics like cotton or linen work beautifully for a classic boxer-style short.

Throughout the class, you’ll build confidence at your machine while learning essential garment-sewing techniques, including constructing an elastic waistband, sewing patch and side pockets, and adding a clean side split detail.

Skill Level: This class is ideal for sewists who are comfortable with the basics and ready to expand their skills in a supportive, creative environment. Students should have prior sewing experience, know how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and follow a seam allowance.

Techniques Learned: Basic shorts construction, sewing patch & and inserting elastic.
