Little Trip Quilt Class

Are you interested in learning to quilt but not ready to commit to making a full sized quilt? Then this class is for you! Students will make how to sew the classic "Trip Around the World" pattern in a mini version. 

Students will learn how to accurately cut using a rotary cutter, piece together the top, and add a border. Finished Quilt size is 18¾" x 23¼". If time allows during class, we will quilt and bind our mini quilts.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner and up. Students must be able to thread/wind a bobbin on their own and follow a 1/4" seam allowance. 

What you'll need:

Students receive a 10% discount on supplies for class.

• Little Trip Pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts
• 12 Fat Quarters for the "trip"
• 1 Fat Quarter for the border
• Additional fabric will be needed for the the backing & binding
• Coordinating thread
• Scissors and/or rotary cutter, & ruler*, pins or clips.

*We have some mats/rulers available to borrow in the studio if you don't have your own, but you may have to share with other students. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your own sewing machine.
