Mini Learn to Sew Series for Adults

A condensed version of our popular Learn to Sew Series. Students will learn the fundamentals of sewing, including threading the machine, winding a bobbin, and basic machine settings. This is the perfect class for those that have never sewn before or need a refresher. Students will make two simple projects that will make you fall in love with sewing!

Below you will find a list of supplies required for each class. All supplies are available for purchase in our store and students always receive a 10% discount on anything they purchase for their class. It is recommended that you come 15-20 minutes prior to class to get your supplies so we can start on time.

Class #1: Pillowcase

Supplies: Pillowcase Kit OR 

•    ¾ yard of quilting cotton for main body
•    ¼  yard of quilting cotton for cuff
• ¼ yard of quilting cotton for trim (optional)
• Coordinating thread

 Class #2: Drawstring Bag

Supplies: Drawstring Bag Kit OR

• 3 Fat Quarters (18” x 22”) :1 for main outside, 1 for accent fabric, and one for lining
• 2 yards of ½” twill tape or drawstring
• Coordinating thread

Details:

• Sewing machines will be provided, if needed. Please bring your own thread, pins, marking pen or chalk & scissors.
• This series is intended for students ages 16 & up.
