If you've never made pants before or are just looking for some great, everyday pants to wear, this class is for you!
The Lane Pants, by Syd Graham Patterns, "are high waisted, with a comfortably wide leg and buildable elements to help you customize your dream pair of pants. Pick and choose cargo pockets, a drawstring, or opt to keep it simple. Depending on what design elements you like and fabric you choose, you could create anything from linen trousers to pajama bottoms to structured cargo pants and beyond."
Skill Level: Students should have prior sewing experience, know how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and follow a seam allowance.
Techniques Learned: Basic pant construction, sewing patch & slant pockets, inserting elastic & drawstring (optional).
Details: Please arrive with your fabric cut out. If you have questions about sizing or cutting, we encourage you to attend one of our Wednesday evening Sewcials that occur weekly from 6:30-9pm.

All supplies are available for purchase in the store. Students receive 10% off their purchase for class.

*Bottom weight fabrics with some drape such as linen, cotton/linen blends, cotton twill, linen/viscose blends, light to mid-weight denim, Tencel twill, cotton poplin, wool gabardine.
** For best results and to prevent shrinking, it is ideal to wash your fabric prior to class.
