Intro to Foundation Paper Piecing

Have you ever wanted crisp perfect points or to sew complex shapes for your quilting blocks? Level up your quilting skills with an introduction to paper piecing class! This class will get you comfortable with how to paper piece by creating a star motif block. Students will choose between two patterns, one simpler and one with curved piecing. Students will complete one block during class. We'll provide a pattern and link to download more patterns, should you want to create more at home.

Skill level: Students must be able to thread a machine & wind a bobbin on their own. Basic sewing skills are required.

Students receive a 10% discount on supplies for class.

• At least 3-4 fat quarters in coordinating fabric

• Coordinating thread

• Rotary cutter*

*We have some supplies available to borrow in the studio if you don't have your own, but you may have to share with other students.
