Visible Mending VIRTUAL CLASS

Bring new life to your garments with visible mending. This class will focus on hand stitching technique such as embroidery and Sashiko, but we will also discuss method using a sewing machine.  

Class meets for approximately 2 hours via Zoom. A link to the class will be emailed 15-20 minutes prior to class. With the permission of all students, class will be recorded and be made available to students for 30 days after class. 

Supplies & tools needed:

• Any garment you'd like to mend or embellish
• Sashiko thread, embroidery floss, or Perle cotton
• Hand needle, preferably with a larger eye for easy threading
• Marking pen or chalk
• Rule
• Scissors
• Options: darning egg or old magazines
