VIRTUAL CLASS Arlo Jacket -- Beginner Garment Making Class
The Arlo Track Jacket is the perfect lightweight layer. It features a sport collar, interesting seamlines, and comfortable front pockets. The Arlo is fitted without being tight and comes with three length options: short 22”/56cm, medium 24”/61cm, and long 26”/66cm. It is the type of zip-up you can wear on its own in fall and under a warm coat in winter. This is a unisex pattern and looks great on all gender expressions! This pattern is intermediate but is achievable by the confident beginner. Pattern fits up to size 7X.
Students should be comfortable following a seam allowance, threading the machine and winding a bobbin on their own. Skills learned during this class included: pattern reading and basic modifications, sewing with knit fabrics, zipper installation and more.
Dates: Saturdays 3-5pm, January 20th-March 6th. A forth session may be added, if necessary.
This class will be held via Zoom and recorded with the permission of students. A link will be sent 15-20 minutes prior to class. Students should expect to do some sewing outside of class in order to stay on schedule.
