Everglade Quilt Pattern by Carolyn Friedlander

Inspired by a road-trip sighting, my Everglade design started with a simple, perforated-lattice shape that is brought to life with variation in scale, color and fabric. Two sets of templates in two different sizes, plus multiple ways to use each, make this pattern a design series to play with and explore across many projects in many ways.

+ Part of the Slow Sewing Studio, this appliqué pattern is great for all skill levels and pre-cut friendly.

+ Featured fabrics are from my Carkai collection with Robert Kaufman.

Project Size(s): 49 1/2” x 65 1/2” plus 4 more quilt sizes and a pincushion.

Fabric: Works with 5″ squares, 10″ squares and/or Fat Quarters (18″x22″)

Techniques: Needle-turn appliqué (Can use another appliqué technique if desired.)
