Safe Space --- Introduction to Cross Stitch

This course will teach you the very basics of Cross Stitch, a form of embroidery that has been around for forever. It is great for beginners -- you'll learn how to read a pattern, the basic stitches, and how to finish off your hoop for display.

Class includes a "Safe Space" cross stitch kit by Junebug & Darlin ($20 value). The kit includes a hoop, needle, embroidery floss, Aida cloth, and the pattern. 

Because embroidery is a "slow" craft and people tend to work at different paces, students should not expect to finish their entire project during class. 

What you'll need:

A small pair of scissors, a pencil, and a highlighter. 

Level: Beginner friendly, no experience required.
